Information about your Water Supply Pipe - If you are a homeowner you are generally responsible for the water supply pipe from where it enters your home up to the stop tap, which could be inside, or in some instances, outside your property boundary line. This responsibility may be shared with neighbouring properties.

Main exclusions are:
  • The gas pipe leading into your meter
  • Guttering
  • Soakaways
  • Shared drains, or drains and pipes you're not responsible for
  • Mixer and digital showers
  • Household appliances
  • Boiler installation costs (parts, labour and VAT) where the existing boiler is aged 7 years or over

Your price will increase at renewal, but you’ll always receive a reminder. If you choose to continue into your second year, the expected price for customers who haven’t made a claim is £33.43 a month (£401.16 for the year).

Price includes any applicable Insurance Premium Tax and is subject to any inflation and tax rate changes.
