  • These boiler and heating breakdown insurance products are for homeowners who live in houses, bungalows or flats, and whose homes are heated with natural gas.

    However, we also offer a range of cover options for landlords.

• What happens if my boiler breaks down?

  • No heating or hot water? No worries! You can make an insurance claim at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year - so whenever you discover a problem, you can reach us and tell us what’s gone wrong.

    Once that’s done, one of our Gas Safe registered Home Experts will soon be there to help get things up and running again. We always aim to fix your problem first time, and all our gas repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.

  • We offer a range of boiler cover and heating breakdown insurance options so you can pick the one that’s right for you. You can decide whether to add a boiler service and pay for this alongside your cover.

    Some of our products offer a FREE Boiler Service during your first year.

• What else does HomeServe boiler insurance include?

  • HomeServe boiler insurance includes cover for unexpected problems that leave you without heating or hot water, plus cover for faulty boiler controls and parts and a leaking gas supply pipe.

    Some of our insurance products offer additional cover for problems with your central heating system, plus insurance for your home’s plumbing, drainage and electrics - so you can choose the one that suits you best.

  • For policies that include a boiler service, the price of the service is shown as FREE when compared to the equivalent cover without service

    The boiler service is FREE in the first year only. Upon renewal, this is chargeable and will be included as standard in the cost of the policy.

    • The offer of a FREE Gas Boiler Service is only available on certain highlighted products on our website
    • Only one offer per household
    • If you cancel your cover within the first 28 days you will not receive the boiler service
    • No cash alternatives will be offered
    • HomeServe staff are not eligible for this offer
    • Separate terms and conditions apply to the products themselves
